Denise Crosby

  • BA in Contemplative Psychology with a focus on Health and Healing and a Minor in Traditional Eastern Arts (Tai Chi)

Denise Crosby, a Special Ed Paraprofessional in the Significant Support Needs classroom at SPARK!, moved to Colorado to attend Naropa University in Boulder. After receiving a Bachelor's degree from Naropa in Contemplative Psychology with a focus on Health and Healing and a Minor in Traditional Eastern Arts (Tai Chi), she worked for four and a half years at the Longmont Downtown Development Authority. In addition, she has spent the last nine years teaching gymnastics to children, including those with special needs, at Airborne Gymnastics and Dance. She started a Special Olympics Gymnastic's program, is a Family Recruited Employee with Imagine!, and assists with a TOP Soccer program in the area - all contributing to the wellbeing of children with special needs.
