I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and received the rest and quality time with family that you hoped for.  We are starting our new STEM unit of Re-duce, Re-use and Recycling and have new toys in the classroom that the children are excited about.  All our classes  have earned our a Parachute Party for our star power rewards program.  They really are doing wonderfully with sharing, listening and learning.  We will be doing the Parachute Parties in the gym/cafeteria on Thursday and Friday.

 Also, this week we will have Ms. Mercedes in the class on Wednesday (am/pm) and Thursday morning.  We will be talking about Ava the avacado and eating healthy.  The children will be helping to make a healthy snack.  So…..we need your help on short notice.  I will e-mail the Wednesday morning class to set this up and we will bring out a clipboard to sigh up for the other classes on Tuesday.  Here is what we will be looking for: 

a.  4 ripe avocados

b.  2 Roma/plum tomato

c.  2 limes

d.  50 baby carrots

e.  4 small cucumbers

f.  1 large head of broccoli

 We would appreciate  5 ounce paper cups and also any science or nature finds to share in our science center. Best,Amy and Sherry
