Curriculum Focus:  Our STEM unit this month will focus on Life Cycles including human, plants, and insects. We would love to do a Bring a Vegetable to Share day on Thursday, February 9. Our letters of focus will be A, V, M, N, and W. Our Big Idea of Math this month is Measurement. For length we will focus on ‘which one is bigger/smaller?’ and for capacity ‘which one has more?’ When we are reading books we are focusing on print concepts including: where the words are on the page, words, can be read, and picture to word connection. You can reinforce this skill by reading the letter of the week book that is sent home weekly.
