Ms. Marie, Ms. Jessica, & Ms. Toni’s Monthly News

Dear Preschool Families:

Welcome to fall!  I hope you have been enjoying the cooler temperatures. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.  We will be going outside even when it is cool, unless it is raining.

Official Count Day!

This Wednesday, October 3rd is the official attendance count day.  Please make every effort to bring your child to school every day, especially on October 3rd as this affects Spark!’s funding.

We will be finishing our Reduce/Reuse/Recycle unit this week with our first design challenge!  The challenge utilizes the STEM Design Thinking cycle of: Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test / Feedback.  At home, please encourage your children to continue to use less paper and reuse/recycle items.

Healthy Learning Paths Lesson Food Donations:

Peppy Peppers is this Wednesday Oct 3rd (attendance count day).

If you volunteered to bring food, thank you!  Please bring it in Tuesday October 2nd, cleaned.  You may bring the food in a plastic bag.

Reminders:

Parent Teacher Conferences are this week.  Please call or email if you don’t know when you are scheduled.  I look forward to meeting with you!

The Believe fundraiser is still going on and supports important resources for our school.  All donations are greatly appreciated and the tentative end date is October 5th.

Please remember to check your child’s Thursday folder and return it to school in their backpack the following Monday.

We are still needing a family picture from several students.  Please send or email a picture if you haven’t already.

Homework:

Kudos to all the children regularly turning in their homework!  Please continue to support your child in this important part of school. Many children are steadily turning in homework that will earn them prizes both in our classroom and from the office.
