PJ, Book, and Blanket Drive

We are seeking donations to serve children in need at our school as a community service to our families.  We've set a goal of serving 30 children and families with a new set of children's PJs, a new children's book, and a new blanket.  We've already had all 30 of the blankets donated and are seeking:

1) New picture books that could be read at bed time to a child

Child Find Information - December 2018

Spark! Discovery Preschool has a Child Find Satellite office here in our building and serving the east side of the district.  The main District Child Find office is at Student Services in Longmont. Each district is required by the Individuals with Disabilities Educational Act (IDEA) to have a child find process to identify children suspected of having a delay in development.

We have had a wonderful November with a focus on our STEM unit Simple Machines and also a study of Pumpkins.  Thank-you for all the pumpkin and apple donations!  The children had fun sorting, counting and pounding golf tees into the pumpkins.

What We’re Learning

We have completed our second STEM Unit, Buildings, and begun our third unit: Music! In this unit, we will explore sounds, rhythm, tempo, and musical instruments. So far, the children have enjoyed experimenting with and exploring sound, new instruments, and music on CD.
