STEM Profiles for the 2018 - 2019

The STEM Profiles are the essence of what we believe STEM programming promotes in the education of the whole child, emphasizing intellectual, personal, emotional, and social growth through the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Join the Office Squad of Volunteers

Volunteer for the "Office squad" to better assist our teachers in clerical ways (copying, laminating, stapling, sorting, etc).  Sometimes, volunteering in the classroom with your preschooler doesn't work out (behaviors, separation, etc). We are looking for a volunteer in the office for each session of preschool in the AM and PM Monday through Thursday, for a total of eight dependable, reliable volunteers each week.

What We’re Learning

Volunteer Training for 2018-19 School Year

Parents and the staff of Spark! have always believed that a collaborative partnership is extremely important in the total educational process for children.  Not only are the parents of our school community-minded, but also they are actively involved in and supportive of our school, students, and staff.

Do you have concerns about your child's development?

Referral Processes: If families would like to make a referral to a specialist, please discuss this with the School Special Education Facilitator. We host a Child Find satellite office at Spark! Discovery Preschool, to handle questions or concerns about child development, behavior, or mental health. If you have questions about your child’s health, you should call our health clerk. She will answer your questions or forward you to a SVVSD nurse.

A critical ingredient in the safe school recipe is the uniform classroom response to any incident. Weather events, fires, accidents, intruders and other threats to student safety are scenarios that are planned and trained for by school and district administration and staff.
