Attendance Report Feb and March 2018

As you know, regular attendance is an important part of a child’s learning.  We thank you for helping your child to maintain their skills, knowledge, and positive attitudes towards school by ensuring they are attending school.  Generally we are seeing much less illness than we did this flu season in January and February.  We're providing an attendance report, as we do each month, with the goal of informing parents about how important

PALS Assessment Information for all Exiting Preschoolers

PALS-K stands for Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening for Kindergarten. This spring, between April 9 – April 27, all children transitioning to kindergarten will be given the PALS assessment before leaving our school.

On behalf of our School Accountability Committee and the Design / Leadership Team I am excited to send this survey to measure key components of quality preschool programming at Spark! Discovery Preschool. In order to increase the quality of our preschool programming, we need your input, ideas, and opinions.   

This survey is one of many evaluation tools we use to gauge quality in our school, including:

Volunteer Training – April 2018

Our school implements required volunteer training for all classroom volunteers.  From late November through mid January, we offered 8 different trainings on a variety of days of the week, times of the day, along with translation options.

Unframed Art Show

An artist can find inspiration in the world around them. From majestic photography to the fine details in drawings, painting and pottery, St. Vrain students shine at this year’s districtwide Art Show, Unframed.

This annual art show will showcase various works of art representing a wide variety of forms and media used by student artists. Works of art include paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, design, new media and much more from students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. And, every school in the district is represented at this show.
