Spark! October School Accountability Committee (SAC) update 2018

At our October 2018, we: 

1. Reviewed the purposed of the School Accountability Committee team using SVVSD Board of Education policy AE.

2. Discussed the timeline of the year's work as a committee3. Discussed highlights of the Design / Leadership Team and STEM work being done at the school: 

Office Squad of Volunteers - Spark! 2018 - 2019

Volunteer for the "Office squad" to better assist our teachers in a clerical manner (copying, laminating, stapling, sorting, etc).  Sometimes, volunteering in the classroom with your preschooler doesn't work out (behaviors, separation, etc). We are looking for a volunteer in the office for each session of preschool in the AM and PM Monday through Thursday, for a total of eight dependable, reliable volunteers each week.

St. Vrain’s Senior Volunteer Program Enters Seventh Year

The St. Vrain Valley Schools’ Senior Volunteer Program is once again available for the 2018-2019 school year. The program began in November 2012 to welcome seniors and individuals with disabilities into our schools and provide them financial assistance with their county property taxes. Up to 200 participants will be paid a maximum of 40 hours at $11.10 per hour for a total of $444 between January 2, 2019 and April 30, 2019.

High Schools Launch Annual Fall Theater Performances

St. Vrain high school students across the district have spent countless hours during and after school in preparation for their school's fall theater production. Watch our students' showcase their talent and hard work. Performances are open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend.
