VALENTINE’S DAY CELEBRATIONS Feb 13 and 14

 

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching! In an effort to host a community event that brings us all together as a community, we will be hosting Valentine’s Day Celebrations in class at the following times, and we hope you will join us:

·       Tues, Feb 13, from 10:30 – 11:10 am  — for Tues / Thurs AM classes

·       Wed., Feb 14, from 10:30 – 11:10 am  — for Mon – Thurs AM, Mon/Wed/Fri AM

·       Wed, Feb 14, from  – 2:25 – 3:05 pm– for Mon – Thurs PM, Full-Day preschool 

Teachers will be sending home a class list with the first names or the number of classmates for their various classes.  It is our policy that children bring a Valentine for every child in the class, if they are going to bring them, as this helps everyone to feel included and shows our caring for our friends. 

We are requesting that each child brings a box or bag that they have designed in order to collect their Valentine cards.  To assist you with this, between Monday, February 5 and Tuesday, February 13 between the hours of 8:00 am am and 3:30 pm we will have a construction zone in our cafeteria, which will be open to families to come and make a box or bag, along with Valentine’s Cards for other students, together for free. Also, feel free to pick up materials and take them home to do your making.

Also, each teacher will be seeking parents to assist/volunteer to assist with the classroom party. Please speak to your child’s teacher about their specific plans and let them know if you are willing to help.
