FAMILY FUN NIGHT:  WELLNESS!!!

When?

• Monday, April 30, 2018
• From 6:00 – 7:00 pm
• At Spark! Discovery Preschool, in the gym, cafeteria

What?

• Learning for the whole family!
• Join us to learn about child and family wellness with your child(ren), including topics about exercise and movement, nutrition, mental health, safety, and social/emotional development.
• We will have some handouts and take-home activities for you to use.

Did you know?

• No child should go hungry, and the Carbon Valley Help Center is there to help:  150 Buchanan Ave, Firestone, CO 80520, 303-833-6626, [email protected].  The Carbon Valley Help Center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 3pm, with appointments recommended.  Walk-ins accepted based on availability.
• Children should… THINK 5210:
  • Eat 5 fruits / vegetables a day
  • Have 2 hours or less of screen time per day (no screen time is recommended for children under age 2)
  • Have 1 hour of physical exercise a day
  • Drink 0 sodas or sweetened drinks a day (instead they should drink more water or low-fat milk)
