We hope that you enjoying your weekend. We had lots of fun this week. We met our new class pets. We now have a frog, Squirtle, a fish, Peanut, and a snail, Gary.
A Week in Review:
- We talked about different types of roads and bike safety. We learned that we should always wear helmets, make sure our bike was the right size and take a grown-up with us when we ride.
- We talked about the number eighteen, 18. How do we write 18? Can we find 18 objects?
- We reviewed 3D Shapes. We looked at cubes, cylinders, prisms, pyramids, and spheres. We looked for these shapes in our classroom and outside.
- We worked closely with the letters Xx, Yy, and Zz. We practiced writing these letters with dry erase markers.
- Our sight-word this week was to. We wrote it with pencil and crayons. We also found it in our Transportation books.
What to Expect:
- Letters: Ll, Ff, Ee and Hh
