Hello families, I hope you enjoyed your long weekend. I certainly did. We have a fun and short week in preschool. On Tuesday, we did music and movement with rhythm sticks. The students enjoy drumming and rubbing their sticks together as a class to the music. On Wednesday, we did a comparing and measuring small group. During this time, students measured several different pictures with unifex cubes. At this point, we made comparisons as a class. Which is the tallest? Which is the shortest? How do you know? The students really love learning in this hand on, play-based environment. Today, we are doing a sequencing activity. We will read a short story to the students, they will then need to cut out and sequence/order the visuals that are paired with the story, and put them in the correct order. For those of you who were able to make it, thank you for coming to the Valentine’s Day party. The children had so much fun, and thank you for all the food donations. Please remember that your child has the appropriate clothing for the weather outside. We have a lot of coats, hats, gloves to keep track of. Please write your child’s name on their clothing items, it’s hard for us to know what belongs to who. Upcoming Events-• Feb 20th- PTO meeting in the cafeteria
