Ms. Jess’s Newsletter – April 2016

We have had a great month celebrating Dr. Seuss and learning about Robotics. A reminder that March was our last month for library checkout. Please return any library books your child has checked out. Harvest of the Month: Our harvest of the month snack for April is Asparagus. When we come back from Spring break we will spend a week learning about the life cycle of a butterfly and we will have live caterpillars so we can watch the process in our classroom! Our next STEM unit will be Nursery Rhymes. This will be our last unit of the year. Our letters of focus for April include G, S, J, D, P, B, R, K, A. Our Big Idea of Early Mathematics for April is Spatial Relationships. We will focus on describing relationships between objects and drawing maps/constructing models with blocks.
