Here’s information regarding improvement actions taken during this school year, based on our lowest areas of the ’17-’18 survey:
IMPROVEMENT area #1: “I’m aware of how to access resources from the school to obtain medical insurance, if we are in need of it.” In our efforts to improve child health outcomes, we will continue to communicate to families and parents about opportunities to obtain medical insurance, if they are in need of it. We will send additional handouts about resources for obtaining medical insurance in our enrollment process, as well as in on-going newsletters.
IMPROVEMENT area #2: “I am aware of how to access resources from the school if I have concerns for my child’s physical, cognitive, speech/language, or academic development.” As we actively partner with our school’s Child Find office, we will include communication from staff in Child Find about how to access resources when parents have concerns for their child’s development.
THE 2018-2019 school year Survey:
Regarding the 2018 – 2019 survey, we will send this out to families in the spring (April / May 2019). It will be sent electronically, allowing for us to receive timely feedback and generate reports without having to hand type responses. Your time and effort in completing and returning these upcoming surveys in the spring is helpful to our school to document our progress, continue to improve the quality of our school’s programming, and make changes as a result of new information.
With respect — Paige Gordon, Administrator
