Dear Families,
If you are receiving this message it is because your child is of the correct age to attend kindergarten next year. Enrollment for kindergarten starts much earlier than some families expect. This year enrollment begins on December 2nd. Schools have open enrollment, so if you plan to enroll your child in a school that is not your home school it is important to register early as children are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Kindergarten
St. Vrain Valley School District offers free full-day kindergarten at every elementary school. For the 2020-2021 school year, kindergarten applications will be accepted between December 2-16, 2019. Registration continues after December 16, but choice of AM, PM or Full Day may be limited.
To enroll in kindergarten, students must turn 5 on or before Oct. 1 of that school year. Please submit kindergarten enrollment information (see below) to your school of choice. Any additional questions can also be answered by calling the school (school contact information) you are submitting your application to.
As your child enters Kindergarten, we want to make you aware of the Kindergarten programming options available for the upcoming school year.
Kindergarten Enrollment Information
Online Registration is a great option for new families to St. Vrain. Families still have the option to fill out a paper registration packet if preferred, contact your school to obtain a complete packet.
