Noreen was born in Massachusetts and attended Nursing school after high school. She volunteered for nine summers on Martha’s Vineyard as a camp counselor aiding adults with development and physical disables. She moved to Colorado in 1995 where she attended Colorado State University and graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. In the past she has worked in SVVSD as an Early Childhood Special Education Paraprofessional. This work ignited her passion to become a Preschool Teacher within the district. Noreen has recently graduated from University of Colorado, Denver where she received her Masters degree in Learning, Development, and Family Science.

Noreen met her husband during the years she spent volunteering on Martha’s Vineyard. They have been married since 2003 and live in Longmont with their two boys. Some family activities they enjoy together are camping, skiing, hiking, traveling, and mountain biking.
