- Ms. Sherry has 30 years of experience in early childhood education, all in the tri-town area at THIS SCHOOL. Sherry and her husband Mark moved to the once small town of Firestone in 1982 to raise their 4 children. She took time off from her demanding job at a busy hospital lab to be a stay at home mom, becoming the neighborhood child care provider and spending many hours volunteering in the local schools and rec programs. As the area continued to grow, SVVSD opened one of its first community preschools. This gave Sherry the opportunity to continue the job she had grown to love most - working with and teaching young children. She is excited to nurture, encourage, and ignite the natural curiosity and love of learning in our youngest students. Sherry enjoys keeping pace with her grandchildren, motorcycling, and is an avid runner.
