Here are this week’s announcements and reminders:

 

• Concepts: Seventeen (17), 3-D shape review, orange; A, B, C, D, a, the, is

• Spring break is next week! Classes will resume on Monday, April 1st. I hope everyone has a nice break. We’ll miss you!

• Crazy Hat/Crazy Hair Day, Monday, April 1st! Have fun and be creative!

• Free Choice Show and Share starts after Spring Break! By popular demand, students may start bringing in a show and share item once a week on their assigned day. Please limit items to things that are not toys (unless extra special) and can fit inside your child’s backpack.

• Spring Carnival April 26th 4-6:30 at Spark! We are very excited to see everyone at this exciting annual event. More info to come! If you are able to help out, a volunteer sign-up will be sent out April 1st.

• A little note about homework…this week I explained to the students that we will no longer be picking items from the treasure chest for completing homework. I explained that in elementary school there are no prizes for homework and that completing your work is an “expectation” in Kindergarten. We will now be awarding prizes to students who earn star power tickets and on special occasions when the whole class has performed well as a team. Please continue to send completed homework back to school so that I can give feedback to students.
