Dr. Seuss Week February 26-March 1 we will be
celebrating Dr. Seuss week. Monday is Crazy Hat OR Crazy Hair day. Tuesday and
Wednesday we will be reading Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You? and One Fish, Two Fish with our activities for the day going along with the books. We will focus on counting using one to one correspondence. Thursday we will be making and tasting green eggs and ham.

Curriculum
Our next STEM unit, Health and Exercise will
begin next week. We will be focusing on body parts, hygiene (hand washing/brushing teeth), healthy vs not healthy food, and exercise. This month we will finish with our first round through the alphabet. Please continue to read the rhyming books we send home on Mondays that correlate with our letter of the week. We will continue to review numerals 0-10 and will continue to focus on simple measurement, rote counting, counting objects, and patterning.
We will continue our literacy focus on concepts of print including where
the words are on the page, words
can be read, and picture to word connection.

We will be doing a fun, messy painting activity
that correlates to Dr. Seuss’ Foot Book on Monday 2/26. Please send your child in clothes they can get messy and also with an extra set of clothes in their backpacks!
