Don’t Miss this Upcoming Dyslexia Education Event!
Learning Ally’s YES! Ambassadors are a group of middle and high school volunteers with dyslexia who speak about their learning differences, self-advocacy and assistive technologies. This presentation explores this very common learning difference, covering characteristics, myths, accommodations, assistive technology, self-advocacy and personal stories. Included are a series of simulations designed to allow attendees to experience what it feels like to be dyslexic. Previous YES! Ambassador events have received an overwhelmingly positive response from St. Vrain Valley staff. You will walk away with instructional and accommodation tools to use the very next day.
