Ms. Marie’s Update 10/14/18
Dear Preschool Families and Friends,
Welcome to winter! This is a good time to winterize” the 2nd set of clothes in your child’s backpack. They also may have grown. Please send them with coats / gloves / hats (please put their name on the inside tag) because we also value getting kids outside to play! If your child doesn’t know how to put on their coat or work their zippers, it’s something to start actively teaching and practicing.
Reminder
There is no preschool tomorrow – Monday October 15th.
Correction:
Student Individual Learning Plans (ILP) will be sent in the middle of November.
Request:
If anyone would like to share their knowledge and occupation about planning and constructing buildings with our students for our Buildings STEM unit, please contact Ms. Marie!
We will be having a Healthy Learning Paths lesson this week.
Important Dates:
· Mon, Oct 15: No preschool – if your child attends wraparound, please check with wraparound to see if they will have childcare.
· Thurs, Oct 18, 6:00 – 7:30 pm – Parenting with Love and Logic class #4 of #4- Free class series , with babysitting provided.
· Fri, Oct 19 – TS GOLD checkpoint: No preschool, if your child attends wraparound, please check with wraparound to see if they will have childcare.
· Mon, Oct 22, 4-6 pm: School Accountability Committee meeting
· Mon, Oct 22, 4:00 – 5:30 pm Parent Volunteer Training.
· Fri, Oct 26, 4:30 – 6 pm – Trick or Treat street event at Spark (4:30 – 4:50 pm is low-sensory).
