Hello families, I hope you enjoyed your long weekend. I personally found some time for relaxing in the mountains. The students have certainly been enjoying the robotics unit, this has provided us with lots of new and exciting materials. Additionally, I built a robot named Cosmo to embedd some fun letter and number games. This week, we did our music and movement activity with rhythm sticks. The students always love this whole group activity. On Wednesday, we practiced matching numerals with quantities. To do this, we placed different stickers on a popsicle stick to match the written numeral. I am happyto say we are seeing a lot of growth. On Thursday, we practiced rhyming words/pictures, and depending on the student’s abilities they got to create their own rhymes or match rhymes with the appropriate picture. We have been falling into a nice routine, and we are getting to dive deeper into academics and work more one on one with each student. Additionally, I am excited to tell you we got a second paraprofessional today. Her name is Ms. Stephanie, and we are really excited to have her. Please introduce yourself. This will allow all students more support, and will allow us to make sure we aremeeting all students needs. I hope you will join us for trick or treat street on Friday. I will update Seesaw with more pictures soon, its been a very busy couple weeks.
