A message from the Spark! Campus Supervisor, Alicia Hall ([email protected])

At Spark! Discovery Preschool we take safety and security seriously and want to ensure that every student can learn and grow in a nurturing and safe place.

Around our school are posted signs asking children to please stand in line with a supervising adult at drop off and pick up. The purpose of these signs are two fold. We want students to learn how to wait appropriately for the start of an activity (IE: school), and we want all students to stay safe. When our students go to kindergarten the expectation will be to wait in line for school to start. When multiple students are running around it creates disregulation and collisions with one another. We are asking all families to please speak to your child about standing in line and encourage them to do so at drop off and pick up. If you as a parent see a safety concern please reach out.

A message from the Spark! Health Clerk, Amanda Rivera ([email protected])

Hello Spark families! I wanted to let you know that Hearing and Vision screenings are coming up. Our screenings will be on October 9th and 10th. This is a non-invasive and non intrusive process that is performed by licensed staff. If our screening indicates that your student needs further evaluation, you will be notified by mail. Please contact your health clerk if you have questions or concerns.
