Library News
Hi Parents and Guardians-
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we wanted to share a quick library update. April will be the last full month students can check out books, giving us time to make sure everything is returned and ready for next year. We kindly ask that you help your child look for any library books at home and return them as soon as possible. The last day of Library will be Thursday, 4/30/26. Fines will be assessed in Infinite Campus on this day. Please remember that if I book is brought back damaged fees will also be placed on the account. Once you purchase a book, the book is yours to keep.
Thank you so much for your help in keeping our library organized and ready for all our readers—we truly appreciate your support!
Ms. Amy Yanez and Ms. Jennifer Nusbaum

CHILD FIND AND EARLY INTERVENTION:
Each district is required to have a child find process to inform the public and to identify children ages 3 to 21 who may be eligible to receive special education services. The District Child Find Assessment Team is a district level team that provides quality, child focused screenings and evaluations for children ages 3-5 and supports building level teams for students in grades K-12. Evaluation referrals come from a variety of sources including: families, community agencies, child care, preschools, medical providers and school staff. The School District of residence for any child ages 3 through 21 is required to “Child Find” students who may have an educational disability as defined by the Individuals with Disabilities Educational Act. For more information on the Child Find process please visit the links below:
- Early Intervention Colorado – Birth through Age 2 (Intervention does not need to wait! If there are concerns for children who are infants through age 2, please call for an evaluation/screening and potentially receive services in the home!)
- Child Find – Preschool (Ages 3-5)
For any additional questions or to schedule an evaluation, please contact Jodie, in the SVVSD Child Find office at 303-772-6649.
