Hello Preschool Families!!

A Week in Review:
· We continued our learning on the Wellness unit. This week we learned about bones that are in our bodies. We learned that bones help to give our body structure and to keep our organs safe.
· We are also doing a germ experiment with bread. We found that the bread hasn’t changed yet.
· Some of our students worked with letters, a and g. We practiced writing the letters, a and g with dry erase boards and markers. Baby Echo also came and helped us practice saying all the letters and their sounds at circle time. While some of our students worked in their fine motor journals practicing recognizing the letters by grabbing them with tongs and tracing them with stickers.
What to Expect:
· STEM Unit 4: Health and Wellness: How does exercise keeps our body healthy? Studying the heart and the lungs.
· Our letters of the week are d and s.
Thank you for your support! Working with your preschooler at home really makes a difference.
A reminder that as the weather starts to get colder, Please make sure that your child comes with a coat/ jacket / sweater (please put their name on the inside tag) because we also value getting kids outside to play and it can still be chilly! If you child doesn’t know how to put on their coat or work their zippers, it’s something to start actively teaching and practicing. Now is also the time to check the 2nd set of clothes in your child’s backpack. They also may have grown too.
