Ms. Tori’s Update 9-22-17

Hello Preschool Families!!

We hope that you are enjoying your weekend with the new fall weather. Thank you to the families who were able to make it to the Family Fun Night.

A Week in Review:

  • We talked about how to care of our pets and what they need. We helped Ms. Tori and Ms. Shilah to remember to feed our class pet, Chocolate (beta fish). We also talked about how some human foods are not good for our pets like dogs should not have chocolate, grapes or nuts.
  •    We talked about the number four, 4. How do we write 4? Can we find 4 objects?  Is there a poem to remember how to write the number 4?
  • We worked closely with the letter Tt and Ii. We created them with the wood pieces as well as looked at words that start Ti and Ii.
  • We talked about the color, Blue. We looked who was wearing the color and where we could find it in our classroom and outside. We sang this song about the color Blue:

BLUE

(Tune: THE FARMER IN THE DELL)

B-L-U-E SPELLS BLUE

B-L-U-E SPELLS BLUE

HI-HO DID YOU KNOW

        B-L-U-E SPELLS BLUE?

THE BIG SKY IS BLUE

THE OCEAN IS TOO

HI-HO DID YOU KNOW

B-L-U-E SPELLS BLUE?
