Dear Families,
Next week we will begin our pets unit. Please send me a photo via email of any pets you have at home with their names by Tuesday, October 22nd. We are going to hang their pictures in the class to go along with our learning in this unit.
I will be sending home a copy of the Fundations letters with pictures for your information of the letters and sounds we are teaching your kiddos at school. You could keep it for your own records or use it to cut out and flip them over to practice reviewing the letter-word-sound. We learned up to letter L this week. I will be sharing a video I made with another teacher of her recording actions to go with the letters and sounds soon when I can figure out how to do so.
Important Upcoming Dates:

Monday, October 21st – No school

October 18th Box Tops Due! They can be submitted with or without the Box Tops form. Turn them in the 17th since we don’t have school on the 18th.

Friday, October 25th – Trick or Treat Street, 4:30-6 here at Spark. Wear your costumes and come trick or treating here at school! Children cannot wear costumes to school on Thursday, because we will be doing this instead. I plan to be there to pass out candy as Mrs. Incredible aka Elastagirl.
