Mandy Dean is a speech-language pathologist at Spark! Discovery Preschool, and also supports the Child Find team. Mandy has been working in the field of speech-language pathology for over 22 years. She has her Master’s from the University of Colorado in Speech/Language/Hearing Science, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee.  She has also studied at the University of Oregon, the International Christian University of Tokyo, Japan, and was a Normandy Scholar studying World War II in Normandy, France.  Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she served as an early intervention specialist at a Child Find office in Tennessee.  Upon completion of her graduate studies, she served as an SLP in Adams12 School District, Boulder Valley Schools, and Longmont United Hospital, and retains strong personal/professional relations from those settings.   Mandy is thrilled to be at Spark! and is delighted to join many friends, both old and new, here in St Vrain Valley Schools.  When Mandy isn’t working, she travels with her family/friends, and enjoys history, classic cinema, and playing piano.
