Dear Families,

The children did a wonderful job settling back into the school routine this past week.  Some were tired by the end of the week, which is understandable.  Please try to take the time to have your child go potty prior to coming to school, I think we broke a record for potty breaks last week!   We are now on the music unit and are starting to learn the names of instruments.  We will be having marching music and march around the room this week with a variety of instruments.  If any parent, friend or sibling has a musical talent they would be interested in sharing with us, please contact  me by e-mail and we would love to have you come into the classroom and share.   In our classroom we have a P-teach high school student, Nohemi, who will be coming to coming into our classroom.   She is under the supervision of the P-teach coordinator and wants to learn about Early Childhood Education to see if this is a career she may want to pursue.  P-teach is a new program that SVVSD is doing and we are excited to be one of the classroom working with these students. Other notes:Reminder: No school Monday, January 21
