Dear Preschool Families:

Spring is coming!  We hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable spring break with family and friends.  We will be learning alongside Dr. Seuss this week.  See the attached flyer for activities.  We will start our final STEM Unit Simple Machines next week.  

Butter Braid Update
Butter braids pickup will be April 3in the Spark cafeteria. The PTO will be available to help from 11am-5:30pm. Please arrange for someone to pick the orders up on your behalf if you can’t be there.  If you are unable to pick up on April 3, please email the PTO at  [email protected] to make arrangements.

All orders must be picked up by April 17 or they become property of the PTO.

Students going to kindergarten

Children going to kindergarten next year will participate in the Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS) assessment window beginning April 8^ththrough the end of the month.  This is an opportunity for us to determine strengths and needs regarding our children’s kindergarten readiness skills in literacy.  It also helps us monitor our practices so we are providing learning experiences that best prepare our children for kindergarten. 

School Carnival

The school carnival is Friday April 26^thfrom 4-6:30 pm.  Don’t miss this fun family activity! We are looking for volunteers to help with the carnival that afternoon.  Please contact the office if you are interested in helping at the carnival.  

Regular and Timely Attendance:  

Your commitment through regular and timely attendance in preschool will support your child in school and throughout their life.  Please remember that the AM class starts promptly at 8:30 am and 12:25 pm respectively.

• April 1 – 4 Dr. Seuss Week at Spark! 
• Wed, April 3  – Butter Braid pickup in Spark! Cafeteria
• Thurs, Apr 4 – Ms. Marie will be out.
• Thurs, Apr 4 –  6 pm PTO Board meeting 
• April 8 – 12 – Week of the Young Child 
• Thurs, Apr 25 –  PJ Day, mini-fundraiser, sponsored by PTO, $1.00 donation for children to wear PJs for the day.
• Fri, Apr 26 – 4 – 6:30 pm – SCHOOL CARNIVAL, sponsored by the Parent-Teacher organization
• Monday, April 29 – Non-Student Contact Day
