Hello!

 

Here are this week’s announcements and reminders:

  • Concepts: 

    • Fundations®: U and V

    • Math : subitizing (seeing numbers to 6), recognizing the number on a die, counting objects to 20

    • Stem: Transportation – Design Challenge

    • Project: Stone Soup

    • PATHS: Yellow and Blue Feelings

  • Tuesday, Nov 19th Spark Night at Chick Fil-A in Longmont. **Downloading the Chick Fil-A app is required to support our school in this fundraiser. Volunteers will be present at Chick Fil-A to assist.

  • Stone Soup Party this Thursday, Nov 21st at 1:45. Please join us for some stone soup and cornbread at snack time. If your child would like to bring a vegetable to share, you may do so any day this week. 

  • School will be closed all next week for Thanksgiving break. If your child goes to wrap, please check with them to see what their hours will be.

  • Monday, December 2nd – Registration for kindergarten begins the day we return from Thanksgiving Break. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you might have. Here are some important links:

  • NO LATE START FOR PRESCHOOL Wednesday Dec 4th. We will start school at 8:30 as usual.

  • Whenever we have a weather delay, school will begin for us at 12:25. We will not serve lunch on those days so please make sure your child eats before coming to school. 

  • Please make sure your child comes to school with an extra set of clothes in their backpack every day. We’re running low on our school supply of extra clothes. **Feel free to donate old clothes that your child has outgrown. We mostly need underwear and pants in sizes 3T to 5T.

Thanks for another wonderful week at school. We had a fun time being pirates last week and are looking forward to cooking projects and a design challenge this week.
