At our October 2018, we: 

1. Reviewed the purposed of the School Accountability Committee team using SVVSD Board of Education policy AE.

2. Discussed the timeline of the year’s work as a committee3. Discussed highlights of the Design / Leadership Team and STEM work being done at the school: 

• Team composition – roles and classroom assignments

• Hiring update

• Staff meeting focus

• Goal setting: PALS, Technology, Attendance, Teacher Inquiry, Professional Learning Communitites

• Parent survey results from ’17-’18 school year

• Parenting with Love and Logic – Classes

• Healthy Learning Paths programming

• Indoor/Outdoor play plan, given new fencing.

• Volunteer training

• QIP update

• Lesson planning expectations—using planbook, takes time to get it set-up

• Committee structures

• Budget / attendance monitoring

• Technology roll out plan

• Multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS)

• STEM unit order, pacing, sequence, and materials related to the budget

• Summer work – Professional Study Team

• Planning tools for collaboration

3) We discussed the August and September Attendance reports. 

4) We discussed the budget report from July 2018 and August 2018. 

5) We discussed parent survey data from the spring of 2018 and an upcoming communication. 

6) We discussed our Phonological Awareness Linguistic Survey goal for spring of 2019. 

We also discussed that we’d like about 7 members.  We currently have a 3-person team.
